Volunteers

The Scottish American Society Of South Florida, Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the furtherance of Scottish culture through Scottish dance, music and art. We hold many events throughout the year including the Southeast Florida Scottish Festival and Games. There are no paid employees and the Board of director are elected volunteers.

It is only with the help of people just like you that we are able to continue to bring quality cultural events like the Southeast Florida Scottish Festival and Highland Games, Battle of The Bagpipe Bands Bash, or our Annual Golf Scramble. We take the job seriously. In concert with the events depending on the amount of funds available, we hold Piping and Drumming workshops, Highland Dance workshops, and provide full or partial scholarships for secondary schooling or schools that provide Scottish related musical, dance courses.

Some ideas to help you determine if you can help are listed below.
